Sri Lankan hospitality is legendary, with locals known for their friendly and welcoming demeanor. Drawing is my favorite hobby in my life. I always use my free time to draw. It helps me to relax my mind🤗. this is my first canvas drawing🖌️. I draw this in grade twelve. It was my first canvas drawing, but it turned out much better than I expected. I used banner paint to color this drawing🖌️🎨. mainly I used black and white colors for coloring. drawing this kind of painting, I was extremely happy and satisfied with myself😃. In the future, I hope to improve my skills and become a talented artist.

I recently had the opportunity to visit one of the island's outstanding sea turtle conservation projects. This visit was more than just an educational experience, it was a moving journey into the efforts being made to protect and conserve these magnificent creatures. Sri Lanka is home to five of the world's seven different sea turtle species. The conservation center I visited is dedicated to ensuring the survival of sea turtles. The project takes a multifaceted approach, focusing on education, rescue, rehabilitation, and research. This facility is a haven for injured and sick sea turtles. During my visit, I saw several turtles being treated. Each turtle had a story, which often involved entanglement in fishing nets or the ingestion of plastic waste. The dedicated staff and volunteers provide medical care and a safe environment for these turtles to recover, with the ultimate goal of returning them to the wild.   Last year, On a rainy day evening, when I went to the supermarket, I found a trembling, thin dog by the roadside. His eyes, filled with fear and exhaustion, pierced my heart, and I knew I couldn't leave him there. I brought him home, offering warmth, food, and a safe place to rest. We named him Brownie. The first few days were challenging as Brownie did not adjust to his new home. Gradually, with patience and gentle care, he began to trust us. Over time, Brownie's playful side emerged and he became my best friend. Adopting an orphan dog like Brownie has its challenges, but the benefits far outweigh the difficulties. If you're thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, I strongly recommend adopting. Many dogs, including Brownie, are waiting for a second chance. The love and gratitude you receive in return is invaluable. Brownie and I are living proof that sometimes the best things in life involve wagging tails and wet noses.

It was a rainy day☔🌧. I was just lying in bed because I was bored😪. At that time my best friend called me and told me about a street food festival. It's just like a dream. Because if I have a chance to eat street food on a rainy day, I don't need anything else🤗😋. I love street food, but this is my first time going to a street food festival. I went to the street food festival with my best friends in the rain. Although it was raining, many people came. It's just like a buffet. Food is everywhere. It's a great experience. I tried many new foods. They are very tasty. One of my favorite things is trying new food. But it rained heavily that day. We enjoyed the rain by eating ice cream😂🍦. 

                      I went with my family👪 to enjoy the night beauty of Lotus Tower. it's an amazing experience. As night falls, Sri Lanka's Lotus Tower, a striking representation of modern architecture, becomes a beacon of beauty and wonder. The tower's lotus flower🌷 design glows in vibrant hues as it is illuminated by a stunning array of LED lights💡, casting a magical reflection on the surrounding cityscape. its nighttime allure draws both locals and tourists to admire its beauty. Visitors to the observation deck can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Colombo's skyline at night. The cool evening breeze and serene ambiance that surrounded the tower relieved my mind.
